New Member: Coventry University

Coventry University (CU) is a global and forward-looking university that provides high-quality education and learning experience. It ranked the 15^th best university in the UK according to the Guardian University Guide 2020 and have held the position of top modern university for seven consecutive years since 2012. In 2017, it was awarded a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework ( the government’s first major assessment of teaching quality), then was awarded 5 stars for teaching excellence in 2018 by the QS Stars rating. Most recently, CU joined the top 20 European universities for its student engagement and excellent learning environment.  

Staying true to its vision of creating better futures for all, CU is actively strengthening its global engagement through increased international presence. It opened its first overseas branch in Singapore to support its internationalisation agenda in the 2021 corporate strategy. The presence of the branch is central in facilitating and bringing services closer to international students and clients, as well as developing stronger partnerships with leading institutions, governments, commercial entities, and research institutes to provide support in advancing higher education and human resource development in the wider Asia Pacific region.
