Another brilliant week, full of WINNERS! Here is my #FridayFive across the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore (BritCham).
1. 25th Annual Business Awards – It was a dazzling evening, recognising the best of business from across our network. We were joined by GOH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, Gan Kim Yong Kim Yong, together with our British High Commissioner Nikesh Mehta , His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for APAC Martin Kent and President of the Chamber Haslam Preeston. A huge shout out to the amazing Chamber team: the “wow” factor when walking into the room was massive. Amazingly hosted by Manisha Tank . 2. #Education – our Trade Services team led by Louise has been with an education training provider as we explored the Singapore market. For companies looking to expand into Singapore, please get in touch via our website. 👩🏫 🏫
3. British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi – we were pleased to welcome Nick Cochrane-Dyet MBE who visited. We talked about Chamber collaboration and market opportunities in Singapore. Fab connectivity across the global network of the British Chambers of Commerce 🇸🇬 🏢
4. #VR training – had a super inspiring meeting with Leon Lloyd, former England International rugby player, who showed me his VR training. Immersive, reflective, impressive – his journey from the boot room to the boardroom is inspiring, and the delivery of leadership and training courses was genuinely incredible. Thank you also for a copy of your book! 🔰 🤯
5. Meetings galore and new members – had some brilliant meetings with awesome people: Stephen Bleakley from SBM Management Consultants for Real Estate was in town and great to welcome him to the office and our business awards; Lucy and I met with the Ministry of Manpower, It was great to welcome Daniel Fairweather to Singapore, the British Dragons DBS Bank, and the British Council, among many this week. Also, a very warm welcome to nine new members of the Chamber: 👯 🤝
