In its second year of conception, the Healthcare and Life Sciences Committee focused on providing support for the member community both on a personal and professional level. This included a webinar delivered by committee member Alex Mearns on ‘Stress Busting Tips to Boost Mental Resilience’.

Looking forward, with our new Chair - Sigal Atzmon, CEO of Medix Global - in post, the committee will be focussing on multiple activities and extensive collaboration on the below three key pillars of the sector –

1) Mental Health with emphasis on Human Capital Challenges

2) Digital Health

3) Health & Climate

The committee recognises that these three strategic pillars encompass the key areas of sector development, influence, implementation, and access to healthcare. To be able to effectively focus on all the three pillars, the committee has unanimously decided to form subcommittees for each of the three areas. The committee aims to understand and share industry best practices on the above key areas through White Papers, Editorials, Podcasts, Guest speaker webinars, Panel discussions, Events, and more.

We believe that with this pandemic, all businesses, corporates, and their leaders have become, and should be ambassadors of health and wellbeing, physical and mental, and now play a role in this space. It presents an opportunity to work together, share and engage to lay the grounds for a better future and for that this committee provides a perfect forum to drive a better quality accessibility and efficiency in the healthcare ecosystem.

Spearheading fruitful conversation, the committee will be at the forefront of the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry as we all move ahead into a post pandemic world.
