Diversity for the Next Generation and Why That Matters: A Conversation on Wellbeing and Safe Spaces

15-07-2026 5:00 PM - 15-07-2026 6:30 PM

Following on from the recent invitation that you would have received, we would like to personally invite you to attend this event.

Every young person deserves to feel seen, valued and supported. Yet many continue to face challenges that can affect their wellbeing, confidence and sense of belonging. For many young people including LGBTQ+ youth, these challenges can be particularly acute. While organisations and individuals across Singapore are working to create safer and more inclusive environments, there is still much we can all do—as parents, family members, educators, colleagues, friends and allies.

CMS Singapore is pleased to host a fireside chat exploring the role of community in fostering positive
outcomes for marginalized young people. Together, we will discuss how we, as a community, can help create safe spaces where young people feel empowered to reach their full potential.

The conversation will be moderated by Sheena Jacob, Partner and ally at CMS Singapore, and feature Clarence Singam, Founding Member of Proud Spaces. Drawing on his experience supporting young people, families and communities, Clarence will share insights on the importance of belonging, supportive networks and inclusive environments.
