Join us for an evening at the American Club as we hear from Dr Nandalal Weerasinghe, Central Bank Governor of Sri Lanka, and many more about the recent developments and progress in a climate ripe for positive change! In his first official address in Singapore as CBSL Governor, Dr Weerasinghe will discuss the recent progress, plans for the future and opportunities for further growth.

We will also hear from representatives of some of the largest operators in the Sri Lankan economy, from the Colombo Stock Exchange to the multibillion-dollar Port City Project under new and approved guidelines for foreign investments to John Keells Holdings, one of the largest conglomerates in the country operating in a broad range of sectors, including real estate, IT and shipping.

Well-known investor, PPP specialist and former Chairman of the Board of Investment, Thilan Wijesinghe, and Sri Lanka-resident and American entrepreneur & philanthropist Agnes Safford will share their personal perspectives and answer some of those frequently asked questions about Sri Lanka as an investment and/or retirement destination.

Our panel discussions will be moderated by veteran journalist and broadcaster Teymoor Nabili and SLBA Vice President Sharlyn Stafford.

The event will be hosted by current and former SLBA Presidents Lakshanthi Fernando and Angelo Perera.
