Premier Group invites you to the first session of Women in Project Management - an exclusive women-only networking event. This is for women in middle and upper management who want to extend their wings and aspire to do more. We would like this event to be a platform for women to share and discuss their experiences. These sessions will be run every 2 months, where we will invite a guest speaker to share with us their story or give an insight about a relevant ropic. This will then be followed by a casual, friendly dinner/networking session. The session below is limited to 100 people, so book now to avoid disappointment. Cost is $25pp for dinner, RSVP to info@prem-grp.com.

Today, CEOs, politicians, celebrities and global brands are increasingly turning to telling stories in order to better connect, inform, and engage with their various stakeholders. And, perhaps more importantly, inspire them to act!

Storytelling is a recognised and growing leadership capability; written about by financial and business authors, taught on MBA courses, used by business leaders and project managers to make their points come alive in a human, authentic and truly compelling way.

But can storytelling be taught? Is it a repeatable technique? And is there a secret formula?

Learn the skills of great storytelling from a hands-on practitioner who is leading the storytelling process within Microsoft in its fastest-growing region in the world.

Andrew Pickup, Senior Director of Communications for Microsoft Asia is an award-winning Marketing and Communications leader, who is responsible for promoting, protecting and defending the image and reputation of Microsoft in Asia, including Japan, India, China and Asia-Pacific.

Increasingly, the company is using story-telling to do this. Andy and his team identify, curate and publish rich and compelling human stories about Microsoft and the transformative impact of technology on business and society.

In this session, you will learn how the adoption of story-telling techniques can help you better engage your key stakeholders and help drive your projects forward to closure.
