What's made them Finalists

Putting student satisfaction at the forefront of their interests, the London School of Business and Finance are focused on providing high-quality education and student services. Through investing in the latest technologies and tools like Canvas, providing students with access to career services, launching initiatives like Employment Assurance and creating a welcoming, inclusive learning environment, the London School of Business and Finance achieved a 62% growth in revenue over the last financial year which they attribute to the many business transformation journeys undertaken by the institution in the past year.

Operational Transformations

Their e-learning platform, Canvas, records lectures throughout the day and allows students to access learning resources, providing them with the flexibility they need to balance their academic and personal obligations. Courses are designed where blended learning approaches are set in the entire curriculum design and are associated to learning outcomes. To support the delivery of blended learning, the LMS system provides functions including customisation to teaching, learning and administration features, tracking student performance on materials completed online and providing customised responses based on outcomes of online exercises.

Additionally, they have launched a fully integrated application portal that enabled them to automate all backend processes related to admissions including the generation of offer letters and signing of student contracts. Through investing in the latest technologies and tools to automate routine processes for better efficiency and productivity, teams are able to focus on high impact functions for better results and satisfaction.

The school also launched a fully-integrated application portal on their website that takes all admissions processes online with real-time linkages, offering features such as the Student Management Software, Salesforce, and the Payment Gateway. On the Human Resources side, a shared HR system was implemented for online application such as e-leave. This system will allow the HR department to process such applications more efficiently. Empowering staff with self-service capabilities, the implementation of the LSBF SG Staff Self-Service App via Timesoft has transformed their HR system by digitising and automating various processes, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced paperwork and streamlined workflows.
