Naylors Ptd Ltd

2019 marks Naylors 110th anniversary. Such a milestone sees strong expansion of the company's operations in South East Asia - opening offices both in Singapore and Malaysia. This was a step forward towards building a fruitful relationship with the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, offering Naylors invaluable assistance to organise the Naylors Coleslaw and Potato Salads Showcase presentations. Hosting over 150 guests at Eden Hall in Singapore enabled the company to explore the market, diving into the local culture and building relationships with the key players of the food industry. Being members of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore has been an invaluable first step towards penetrating the market.

People First

People First (formerly MHR International), came to Singapore to explore the business opportunities and asked the Chamber to arrange a programme of B2B meetings. One the back of these meetings, they are setting up an office in Singapore and have become members of the Chamber.

MHR International, as part of its international expansion programme, engaged the British Chamber of Commerce to identify a number of partner organisations and subsequently setup meetings on behalf of MHR, in order for them to undertake early market assessment.

The quality of the background research conducted by the Chamber and the frequency and quality of communications was excellent. Each of the meetings gave great insight into the high-level state of the market, and from the partner meetings we attended, we now have five partners we are engaged with at the next stage of our partner on-boarding process.
