STEVE FIRSTBROOK

Steve is responsible for the UK’s trade and investment relationship with Singapore and leads the team at the British High Commission supporting UK businesses and promoting the UK as an investment destination. He joined the team in August 2020, having previously led the Trade & Investment operation at the British Office in Taipei, where he was part of the regional team driving the evolution of DIT and its regionalisation across Asia Pacific. Prior to his posting in Taipei, Steve was Head of Investment at the British Embassy in Seoul, where he established strategic relationships with a number of Korean chaebol and institutional investors. Steve has completed a range of overseas postings for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, including as Her Majesty’s Consul in Rabat and Deputy High Commissioner in Nassau.
