BP supports new research paper on disability in Singapore

Community Business has released the latest research paper in their Asia Disability Country Briefing Series focusing on Singapore, sponsored by Sterling member company BP.

The paper complements and supports the development of BP's strategy for inclusion, an important part of which has been their partnership with the Singapore National Paralympic Council (SNPC).  BP has been working with the SNPC since 2015, to change perceptions of disability and highlight the unique and inspiring power of sport.  At the heart of the partnership is a consistency of their common core values, bringing them to life in a unique way for staff and partners.

As Terence Yuen, Country President of BP Singapore states:

At BP we need everyone to play their part in solving the big complex challenges facing our planet today. We create an inclusive workplace where everyone can reach their full potential, through living our values of Safety, Respect, Excellence, Courage and One Team. Ensuring we are accessible to those with different abilities is critical to our long term success and brings diversity of thought and experience to our teams.

The report outlines key statistics for disabilities in Singapore including the scale and nature plus workplace-related data, before outlining positive steps towards inclusion and case studies from prominent companies operating in the country.
