BritCham Singapore Launches Strategic Vision 2026–2030

The British Chamber of Commerce Singapore is pleased to share our Strategic Vision for 2026 to 2030, a clear direction for how we will serve our members and the broader UK-Singapore business community over the next four years.
Shaped by listening
This strategy is the product of time spent listening to members, to partners, and to the shifts happening in Singapore and across the region. It reflects what businesses in our network have told us they need in today's operating environment, and sets out how we will deliver for the 350 companies and approximately 4,000 individuals who make up this community.
Three strategic priorities
Everything we do stems from our member network. Growing and strengthening our network is not just a priority; it is the very foundation that makes every other ambition possible. The strategy is anchored by three priorities:
- Members: Building depth in the sectors that matter most to the UK-Singapore bilateral relationship, creating a community where engagement connects you to the right peers, partners, and decision-makers
- Trade: Championing bilateral trade and opening doors for British firms across ASEAN, from market entry support to advocating for members as trade agreements develop
- Advocacy: Ensuring our members are heard where it matters, through active dialogue with UK and Singapore government stakeholders and the policy bodies that shape your operating environment
These are supported by four business enablers: Policy & Insight, Impactful Communications, Strong Commercial Growth, and an Effective Organisational Structure, all designed to make membership work harder for every business in our network.
Refreshed content themes
We have also refreshed our content themes, which will be periodically reviewed across the life of the strategy. Members can expect programming and events aligned to:
- Trade & Commerce: championing UK-Singapore trade and helping members navigate the bilateral and regional opportunity
- People & Work: advocating on employment and workforce issues and supporting leadership and talent development
- Technology & Innovation: connecting UK expertise to Singapore's ambition to lead on advanced industries
- Community & Engagement: the social, cultural, and community programming that makes this Chamber more than a business network
- Sustainability & Resilience: practical tools and credible conversations on decarbonisation, ESG, and the green economy

What this means for you
Whether you are a global business with a long-established Singapore presence, a UK firm exploring the region, or a founder building something new, this strategy has been shaped with your perspective in mind. Over the coming months, you will see it come to life through our programming and the ways we engage with you as a member.
The strategy is ours, but it works alongside yours.
