British Dragons Annual Charity “Early to Eve” Event in Aid of Worldwide Cancer Research

The British Dragons' annual "Early to Eve" charity event will take place on April 12th at Kallang river basin

On Saturday, 12th April, the British Dragons will be holding their annual charity "Early to Eve" event, in aid of Worldwide Cancer Research. This is a charity that is very close to the team's hearts, and last year they raised a record-breaking S$14,300; this year, they're aiming even higher, and you can help!

It takes place in the Kallang river basin near National Stadium (think spectacular views of the Singapore Flyer, MBS, Gardens by the Bay and the F1 pit straight) from 7am to 7pm. During that time, boats and paddlers rotate in 1.5-hour sessions so that there is always at least one boat paddling continuously, with fun and games by the river bank for supporters and paddlers taking a break. This is a great introduction to the sport, and a wonderful way to meet the dragon boating community, and so we'd be delighted if any new paddlers would like to join us for this event! If you think you'd like to give it a go, please fill out the sign-up form by 31st March and drop an email to secretary@britishdragonboat.com.

If paddling isn't your thing but you'd still like to support the event, that's okay too! We have a JustGiving page, and would be very grateful for any donations towards this worthy cause.
