Excellent Academic Achievements and University Placements at Dulwich College (Singapore)
Dulwich College (Singapore) is proud to announce the achievements of its students in the IB Diploma Programme and I/GCSE examinations for the academic year 2022-23.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the College's commitment to academic excellence remains unwavering. The return of grade boundaries to pre-COVID levels, as promised by the examination boards, saw great results.
Celebrating IB Diploma Programme Results and University Placements
The fourth graduating cohort of Year 13 students exhibited notable academic achievements within the IB Diploma Programme. A 100% pass rate was achieved by 118 eligible students, with the school averaging score of 36.8 which surpasses the global average of 30.2. 33% of students secured 40 points, three of which achieved a perfect score of 45. Additionally, 12 students had earned the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, a testament to their exceptional dedication.
The Class of '23 received an array of impressive university offers, underscoring their academic prowess and versatility. Students will be commencing their higher education journeys at world-renowned and highly selective institutions spanning diverse disciplines. Notable acceptances include the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, UCL, Imperial College London, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. In the US, students will attend institutions including Cornell University, marking the first Ivy League admission, the University of California, Berkeley, and Ursinus College, Pennsylvania, where the Zacharias Scholarship was granted to a student-athlete.
IGCSE Excellence
With the largest-ever cohort of 183 Year 11 students, the school achieved excellent I/GCSE results. 75% of grades were A*/A or equivalent, and a notable 51% were A* or equivalent. Additionally, 90% of awarded grades were within the A* - B range. These results showcase the students' hard work, supported by dedicated teachers and a network of unwavering support.
