PwC Singapore launches the PwC Academy’s Masterclasses programme

Set against the backdrop of the urgent need for upskilling, PwC's Academy has partnered with three top-in-class universities - University of Oxford (Said Business School), INSEAD, and Singapore Management University - to curate a series of Masterclasses tackling topics such as advanced management, leadership, business strategy, finance, corporate governance, and risk management.

What are the courses and what do they cover?

PwC-Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Masterclass

This Masterclass is tailored to support Singapore SME senior business leaders and its emerging leaders advance their management and leadership skills. It will be tailored for the Singapore context and will be adapted from the existing renowned, prestigious "Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme“. Participants can expect to discover, learn, and discuss challenges and opportunities for sustaining strong performance in a globalised 21st century context.

PwC-INSEAD Strategy Masterclass

This Masterclass aims to help SME leaders and its emerging leaders understand the critical importance of having a sound strategy in place to guide their business. Based on the global best-seller “Blue Ocean Shift”, this Masterclass is designed to empower its participants with the latest thinking in strategy and how a sound strategy will drive superior performance and growth potential for their businesses. Participants can expect to be educated on the foundations of a Blue Ocean Strategy and the why and the how of innovation for SMEs in Singapore. The Masterclass will also delve into creating new market opportunities through commercialising innovation efforts, and how to sustain innovative cultures in the organisation.

PwC-SMU Chief Financial Officer Masterclass

Developed with senior finance leaders in mind, this Masterclass includes modules which are relevant to finance professionals, such as: corporate governance, risk management, managing IT in an organisation, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and insights from practicing CFOs. The programme also serves as a platform for senior finance professionals to exchange knowledge and experiences and understand and explore potential solutions to the challenges facing the finance function and the organisation.

SkillsFuture Funding

These masterclasses all qualify for SkillsFuture funding. For Singaporeans / PRs, course subsidies start from 50% of the course fees, and can go up to 90% (if you are above 40 years old).
