Scott Brownrigg announces New Direction for its Singapore Studio

This year Scott Brownrigg’s Singapore Studio celebrate its10-year anniversary. Since the completion of its initial project - the University of Reading Campus in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, the studio has worked on numerous schemes in Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region, having recently announced their appointment on Singapore Land Transport Authority’s Tavistock Station with Jacobs for Sato Kogyo.
 

With a growing reputation within the Transport and Data Centre sectors, and supporting its future direction, the studio has undergone a recent strategic re-structuring, heralding a change in leadership. Vivien Leong, who joined Scott Brownrigg in 2019, will head up the studio from the end of May 2023, taking over from Raymond Hoe.
 

Since joining Scott Brownrigg, Vivien has been responsible for winning a number of transport and infrastructure projects including Tavistock Station. A registered architect in both Singapore and the UK, Vivien has worked at practices in both countries and has experience in winning and leading complex projects within both public and private sectors.
 

In 2015 Vivien was named one of Singapore’s 15 Great Engineers and Architects Aged 40 and Under by the Singapore Business Review. In 2019 she was the winner in the Design and Style category of Singapore Women’s Weekly Great Women of our Time, recognised for her outstanding career achievements and contributions to society in her field. She is also a well-known and respected speaker across the industry.

With a new horizon ahead, the studio is pursuing a number of projects particularly in the Transport and Advanced Technologies sectors.
