University of Bath: Student placements and Internship Opportunities in Singapore

Would you like the chance to develop talent from one of the UKs top ranking universities? Do you need additional resource requirements from summer 2024 onwards?

The University of Bath’s School of Management has options for both undergraduate and postgraduate students to undertake internships in Singapore, using a Working Holiday Pass (WHP)

Students from our BSc Business and BSc International Management courses look for 6-month internships to run from either summer to Christmas or Christmas to summer each year.  We have a great track record of placing high calibre students in Singapore in a variety of companies from start-ups and SMEs to multinationals.  Further details can be found here: School of Management placement students make sense for your business (bath.ac.uk)

We have also launched an exciting new option for our MSc students to choose a Summer Internship in Semester 3 as an alternative to the summer dissertation. We would love to collaborate and promote your early career opportunities to our students and see how we can help with your resourcing needs be it short or long-term. Students from the following courses have the option of an internship: MSc in Entrepreneurship and Management; MSc in Finance Suite; MSc in International Management; MSc in Strategic Retailing; MSc in Sustainability and Management.

The MSc internship needs to be a minimum of 6 weeks starting from June/July, but as students will not be returning to university after the summer, they will also be available for any longer-term roles. Graduate schemes that start in the summer also count towards the internship to make the process as open as possible for employers to benefit from the student talent. Further details of the opportunities can be found at Your year studying a School of Management MSc (bath.ac.uk).

If you would like more information on the student internships schemes or to discuss how you can get involved, please contact Ben Smith, Head of Employability, bms23@bath.ac.uk and Sophie Webb, MSc Internship & Projects Office, sw3122@bath.ac.uk.
